Empowering Communities

Lately there has been much discussion in the media, world about the plight of the refugees from Syria. We must remember that there have always been refugees from many different parts of the world, and unfortunately there will always be refugees, people escaping their homelands for different yet personal reasons.

There should be more discussion about how to help people in flight. In flight from persecution, famine, poverty, homelessness, violence, terror, and the list goes on and on. At Stepping Together Inc we are constantly asking ourselves how can we, a small, underfunded non-profit organization make a difference in the lives of others. It is a daily challenge for each and everyone of us. A challenge to help individuals change their lives, and one by one empower communities to help others.

As we approach the end of another year we will take a photographic look back at the work we have done, the successes, the failures, the challenges, and the victories. We look forward to the coming year to continue to make a difference in others lives.
